Error is:
SUN SETTING IN MURKY WATER!!?
Quranic verse is Surah kahf chapter 18 verse 86 it says:
"Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."
Brother Ramaish the word that is used in the verse is "وَجَدَهَا" it means "It Appears to be" So, Allah is explaining what is Zulqarnain is seeing...what he is observing...it does not mean Allah is wrong or the Quranic verse is wrong. The understanding of the people is wrong. For example in a classroom a student says 2+2=5 and am telling this to my friend it does not mean the mathematics of zakir is weak. The student is wrong.
Actually It is the use of the word which we generally miss understand ...we take it wrong.
For example we say the sun is rising or the sun is setting...we use the word sunset and sunrise.
Scientifically we know sun neither rise nor it sets. it is the rotation of the earth that causes it. Brother i read newspaper daily where they say the sun rises at six am and sets at 7 pm.so the newspaper is wrong??? know they are only using the word. Same thing is in the above verse.
"It appears to Zulkernain" Allah is telling us that thing...
I hope the answer is satisfactory
